The Google Workplace Service Evaluation Team received the Best Overall award for collaborating with Internet2 and others on a successful multi-month negotiation with Google for a business model with significant implications for research and education institutions.

Bob Flynn received the Lifetime Achievement award for leadership in the higher education cloud community and his commitment to improving technology effectiveness and best-practices across higher education.

Presented to the member with the best approach to evaluating how cloud technologies can transform business processes and generate innovation in institutional service to its campus communities.

CATEGORY 5
Open Cloud-Based Innovation
Presented based on the design, approach, or application of cloud technologies that may not fit in the other categories. Entries may include innovative projects using IaaS, PaaS, disaster recovery, business continuity, online teaching/learning, COVID-19 operations, and more.

Information Security
Presented based on the application or approach used to enhance and strengthen cloud-based information security.
